Report of Webinar on “Essence of National Education Policy”

A webinar on “Essence of National Education Policy” was organized for the faculty members and students. The speaker – Dr. (C.A.) Varadraj Bapat explained the need for coming up with the policy in the Indian education system. He explained the entire philosophy of the National Education Policy right from framing of the National Education Commission and the importance of Research, Teacher’s Education, importance of languages and multi-disciplinary skills in the National Education Policy. He threw light on the execution of policy in the Higher Educations and the integration of knowledge to enhance the higher education. He explained the importance of the National Education Policy in the Indian Education System. The webinar also focused on the education outcome and the digitalised education by connecting the use of digitalisation in the education during the current pandemic situation. The speaker very well connected the importance of the national education policy by emphasising need of personality development by the effective use of the National Education Policy. 132 participants attended the webinar.
