Report of Rangoli Competition 2021

HNIMR has always strived to keep its students culturally rooted. Every year at HNIMR we celebrate ‘Dahi Handi’ festival. Since last 2 years due to pandemic situation outside we have modified the nature of the celebration, we organise ‘rangoli competition’ on the occasion of ‘Dahi Handi’. This year this competition was held on 31^st of Aug. 2021. The participants were asked to send a 1 minute creative video of their rangoli making. Theme of rangoli was ‘Dahi Handi Festival / Janmashtami’.

This year 7 enthusiastic students participated in this competition and sent their rangoli videos. It was indeed tough competition. Dr.Manasi Javadekar and Dr.Archana Pradhan judged the completion on the criteria’s like – theme, colour combination, creative editing of video and presentation of rangoli.

In this competition Miss. Mrunal Dandavate secured the 1^st prize,

Miss. Pranjal Patil secured the second prize and

Miss. Apurva Sutar secured the 3^rd prize.

Attractive cash prizes where given to the winners.
