Report on MKSSS’s HNIMR Dahi-Handi 2023

The birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm, on the Janmashtami day. On 7/09/23 in HNIMR, were Dahi Handi Program was celebrated at 3.30 p.m. on the campus of HNIMRW.  The program was started with the poojan of Idol of Shree Lord Krishna. Dr. Sonali Parchure gave a speech on the importance of this event from a management angle. All Teaching and non-teaching members were present for the same. Miss Shubhangi Chougule and Miss Nabha Paricharak was the anchor for this Program.

This year senior students made two groups of juniors and then different tasks were given to them. Dahi Handi competition was held between two groups of MBA Juniors. B group was the winner so the first chance to break the handi was given to them. This year Dahi handi was celebrated in an innovative way. The group leader had to break the handi blind folded, with the help of her team member. After breaking these two handies senior students also broke one handi. From this program, students learned the importance of team building and competitive spirit through this competition. At the end of the program, refreshment was served. Also, Prasad of Gopal Kala was distributed to all students. This Program was arranged by Dr. Sneha Aarekar and Dr. Manasi Javadekar.
