Report of Two Days Workshop on Entrepreneurship Development

Two Days Workshop on Entrepreneurship Development organized on 23/01/2024 and 24/01/2024 for finance specialization of first year students between 10.30 am to 05.30 pm. This workshop is organized to enhance skills and qualities required for entrepreneurship such as communication skills, discipline, leadership skills, adaptability, and skills required for planning, dedication to learning, money management and building the network. Mrs Manisha Tapasvi , Mrs  Aishwarya Pathak and  Aishwarya Kulkarni, Project manager at De Asara foundation are conducted the workshop.

The trainer had conducted small activity in which the students are told to distribute the money in different envelop like savings, investment, living expenses, emergency expenses, recreation, funds, education etc. from that she has explained about budget planning. Then students got to know about self-branding, the 5 steps to become ‘a brand’.

Business strategy discussed –SCAMPER—S- Substitute, C-Combine, A-Adapt , M-Modify, P-Put to another use, E-Eliminate ,R-Reverse/Reuse.

The business model of Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale was discussed on the product range i.e. bhakarwadi, sonpapadi, and other mithai. The focus was on Value preposition i.e. goodwill, authentic taste. Value preposition i.e. goodwill, authentic taste., Customer segment i.e. children, senior citizens, corporate., Customer relationship i.e. the attractive tag line, Distribution channel, Cost structure i.e. store space, staff, and employees., Key partners like small fund business, corporate, milk distributors, franchise holders etc. Key activities: production, reselling, branding, research, Key resources: machinery, chefs, employees, Revenue & benefits and Risk: large investment.

Activity given to students to build their own business model. In detail focused on sales & marketing, and what is difference between sales & marketing. Marketing includes color, logo, phrase of the company.

Students have understood the qualities required for entrepreneurship. Students also learned team building spirit and built self-confidence.
