The committee’s goal is to offer guidance, counselling, and solutions to issues related to caste-based discrimination in the workplace, and to promote diversity on campus. Hence, it is the committee’s responsibility to sensitize campus officials and faculty members on how to handle such cases. The committee operates within a specific time frame and takes necessary actions as required, providing reports to the institution’s head.
