Report of ABHYUDAYA 2023-24 Sports Event

This year HNIMR celebrated the Annual Sports Event “Abhyudaya” on 13^th &14^th March 2024 with great enthusiasm. The programme began with the inaugural speech of Dr. Surya Ramdas, Director of HNIMR. The Director madam made aware of the importance of sports in daily life & motivated everyone to participate in various sports competitions.

There were different types of indoor & outdoor games held under the annual sports Event 2024 in which total of 200 entries were enrolled in all events such as Suryanamaskar, Chess, 100m. Running, Tug of War, Badminton, Carrom and Cricket. All students participated in different games with high enthusiasm and some students were volunteering for the same.

Fun games were held where all the students were allowed to participate. Students have given a great response to this event. This year, Suryanamaskar competition was held separately for the staff members.

Referees were also invited to judge the Chess, cricket and Carrom competition fairly. The winners were given the Gold, silver, and Bronze medals along with certificates. The rolling trophy were also given for team games such as cricket and carrom.

The names of the winners were declared by the respective sports event coordinator. Several students performed very well and won multiple prizes. All the senior & Junior MBA students enjoyed themselves and had a great sports Event.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Priyanka Potdar and Dr. Prashant Mamarde, Sports coordinators, Nabha Paricharack and Akshata Kulkarni, Students’ coordinators, Sports Cell under the guidance of Dr. Surya Ramdas.
