Event: Session on “Career Opportunities in Defence and effective tips for career building” for MBA students.

MKSSS’s  Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women (HNIMR) in association with Akhil Bhartiya Purv Sainik Seva Parishad ( Maharashtra and Goa region), organized a session on  Career Opportunities in Defence and effective tips for career building for MBA on 2^nd December  2021.

Session started with felicitation of Chief Guest Air Vice Mshl Nitin Shankar Vaidya VSM (retd.) by Director of the institute Dr. Surya Ramdas. Ms. Rajashri Shinde started the session with her address to audience elaborating the importance of the defence department of the nation. She stated the vision and mission of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s vision and mission to the audience. In her speech she invited the audience to participate in Manvandana Rally at Mhatre bridge on 16^th December 2021.  After her speech, Chief Guest Air Vice Mshl Nitin Shankar Vaidya VSM (retd.) introduced Career Opportunities in Defence particularly in Air Force department. He explained history of IAF to the students. After he explained carrier for woman in IAF, in the areas like nursing, logistics and technical department. Then he explained induction of woman in IAF. He mentioned that IAF has training centers at Mysore, Hyderabad and Gandhinagar. He explained joining methods and exam pattern. He said that students can join IAF after completing 12^th or graduation or post-graduation level exams through UPSC and CDS. He also mentioned career highlights after joining air force. He said that IAF encourages selected candidates to have adventures in life. One can expect quality life style after joining IAF. He also stated the milestones achieved by the woman in Indian Air Force.

He ended her session and answered the questions raised by students ably and interestingly. With kind permission of Honorable Director of HNIMR Dr. Surya Ramdas, it was possible to execute this workshop smoothly. Finally Apurva Gune concluded the session with vote of thanks.
