Celebrating 75 years of Independence Day

The 75^th Independence Day Celebrations were filled with various activities on the vibrant HNIMR campus. The celebrations on the occasion of AZADI KA AMRIT MOHOTSAV began with lots of enthusiasm and overwhelming response from the staff and students of HNIMR.The celebrations began with staff and students taking photographs by holding the tricolor and posting the same on the Savitribai Phule Pune University link

The Institute’s campus was full of the sense of patriotism by seeing the Tricolor Flying high on the Institute’s building since 13^th August till 16 August 2022.The students and the staff of the institute took part in the rally which was organized by the institute by holding the tricolor and creating the awareness regarding “HAR GHAR TRIRANGA “campaign and encouraging the citizens to take active part in the same

On the Day of 15^th August the celebrations began early morning ,the campus was full of happenings were patriotic songs were played since early morning. A flag hoisting ceremony took place in the presence of the chief guest BRIGADIER V. S. TOLEY (Veteran). The staff and the students of the institute were present. Director of the institute Dr.Surya Ramdas gave the welcome speech and briefed about how India achieved the freedom. Shri. Jayant Inamdar ,managing committee member Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samsthan ,on this occasion said that we all are very fortunate to have born in free India and we all should appreciate and value the same. He also guided the students as how we can contribute to nation building. BRIGADIER V S TOLEY (Veteran) made the audience aware about the contribution of the defense forces in protecting our country and freedom. He also motivated the staff and students to play their part in development of the country irrespective of the career they will choose. Dr. Madhuri Khambhete,principal Cummins College of engineering for Women was also present along with the staff and students of the college. The program included patriotic songs by students and staff.
