“Quick Reflexes, Sharp Minds”
| Format | Live buzzer round, questions displayed on PPT |
| Grouping | Teams split into groups of 5 for each buzzer session |
| Main Questions | 12 questions per + 2 tie breaker question |
| Marking Scheme | +5 marks to the team that buzzes in first with the correct answer |
| Wrong / No Answer | If the team that buzzes first fails to answer correctly, the question is dropped — no other team gets a chance at it! |
| Qualification | Highest-scoring teams from the buzzer sessions advance to Round 3 (Grand Finale) |
Additional Rules & Notes
- The 10 qualifying teams from Round 1 will be divided into 2 groups of 5 teams each; each group competes for the round.
- Questions are displayed one at a time on the projector/PPT screen; teams may buzz in only after the person finishes reading the question aloud.
- Buzzing in before the question gets complete may result in the team being locked out for that question.
The 2 buffer questions are reserve questions — used only for tie-breaks between teams, or as replacements if a question is disputed or repeated. - A team may not confer with the audience or other teams; doing so forfeits their points for that question.
At the end of both buzzer sessions the highest-scoring teams (as decided by the committee, e.g. top 3–5) advance to the Round 3 Grand Finale.
