Presentation on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

HNIMR’s Community Development Cell organized an outreach and awareness program at Sanskar Mandir Arts and Commerce College, located in Ganpati Matha, Warje, on 10th February 2026. The session targeted a group of 30 students The session conducted by MS. Mansi Joshi at Sanskar Mandir College at Warje Malwadi offered an in-depth analysis of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. to ensure the concepts were relatable to the students’ daily lives and importance of these goals. Discussed what actions can be taken to promote sustainable goals by community and Government.

Students gained a comprehensive understanding of the UN SDGs through localized, practical examples. Participants learned to identify and report environmental issues, specifically air pollution, within their community. The initiative successfully bridged the gap between academic concepts and real-world application for working students.

The program fostered a sense of “individual responsibility” toward achieving global environmental and social targets

 This event was organised under the guidance of Director Dr. Priyanka Singh and coordinated by Prof. Ranjana Gogate & Prof. Kamalakar Munde, of Community Development Cell.
