On 5th September 2024, HNIMR’s Student Council members arranged a ‘Teacher’s Day Celebration’ for the teaching & non-teaching staff members. The Teachers’ Day celebration began with great enthusiasm as the event was organized to honor and appreciate the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the minds and futures of students. The program started with a hearty speech, which emphasized the pivotal role that teachers play in society. The speech also touched upon the lasting impact teachers have on their students, serving as mentors and guiding lights.
A special mention was made of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India. One of his Quote saying, “Teachers should be the best minds in the country” was also shared highlighting the critical role of highly knowledgeable and skilled educators in shaping future generations and driving national development.
Following the speech, a token of appreciation in the form of pens was distributed to all the Professors & Staff Members. This gift symbolized gratitude and respect for their dedication and hard work.
The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, adding a joyful touch to the occasion. The teachers, along with the students and staff, participated in the ceremony, marking the end of a memorable and heartwarming event.
