Hello everyone,

I am Rutuja Girme, currently pursuing my MBA in Marketing Management from Smt. Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women. I am thrilled to share my experience of the recent symphony event held at our college.

The symphony event was organized by our college and managed efficiently by Archana Ma’am and Priyanka Ma’am. The event saw many enthusiastic participants and featured performances from 7 to 8 groups representing various countries such as the USA, Germany, France, Australia, and India. The excitement in the air was palpable, and every group gave their best performance.

Our chief guest and judge for the event was the esteemed Mr. Srikant Joshi Sir, whose presence added great value to the event. The highlight of the evening was the winning performance by Team India, who clinched the first prize with their incredible portrayal of India’s rich and diverse culture.

Preparing for the event was an exhilarating experience. Each team diligently researched their respective countries, delving into the food, dance, and cultural practices to create authentic and captivating performances. My team chose to represent France, and we divided the tasks among our group members to ensure a comprehensive presentation.

Our act depicted two girls traveling from India to France to study fashion. They encountered interesting people in France, including some fellow Indians who introduced them to French culture. We showcased the famous cafes, delectable French cuisine, and the rich fashion heritage of France. It was a delightful experience, and our performance was well-received by the audience.

Team India’s performance was particularly remarkable. They portrayed the unity and diversity of India, highlighting how people from different states come together, embracing various cultural backgrounds. Their depiction of traditional Indian lifestyles and the cultural harmony was truly inspiring.

The symphony event was an incredible experience for everyone involved. It was not only entertaining but also educational, as we exchanged knowledge about different countries and their cultures. The joy and excitement were evident on everyone’s faces, making the event a grand success.

Thank you for joining me on this reflection of our symphony event. I am proud to share that I am now part of the Student Council as the Cultural Head. I look forward to the adventures and learning experiences that lie ahead.
