Reflecting on Kaleidoscope 2023 at Smt. Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women

Riya Dombe

Hello everyone,

I am Riya Dombe, currently pursuing an MBA in Finance from SMT. Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women. I am thrilled to share my experience of Kaleidoscope 2024, an event that truly showcased the vibrancy and talent within our college community and beyond.

Organized by our dedicated Student Council member and Kaleidoscope Head, Youradni Khetawat, alongside the entire student council and a supportive junior team, Kaleidoscope was a grand affair. Students from various colleges joined us to participate and compete in a multitude of events. These events were categorized into four main segments: Panache, Bizotic, Horizon, and Kushagra.

Horizon focused on the SIP projects that students had completed during their time in college, providing them an opportunity to present their hard work and insights.

Bizotic was dedicated to business plans, where students showcased the innovative business models they had conceptualized, reflecting their entrepreneurial spirit.

Panache  brought the stage alive with performances in dance and singing, highlighting the artistic talents of the participants.

Kushagra  was a mix of intellectual and fun events, including a business quiz modelled after “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” mad ads, treasure hunts, and the prestigious “Big Win” (Best Manager) competition.

The participation was overwhelming, with students from different colleges showcasing their talents and winning various prizes. The events were not only enjoyable but also provided a platform for learning and networking. To ensure the comfort of all attendees, refreshments were thoughtfully arranged.

The success of Kaleidoscope was a collective effort. Student council members, seniors, juniors, and teachers all played vital roles. Promotion efforts included visits to different colleges with brochures and a significant online presence. I personally contributed by creating the online quiz presence, similar to KBC, and preparing questionnaires for contestants, making the process seamless and engaging.

With everyone’s hard work and dedication, Kaleidoscope 2023 was a resounding success. I am incredibly proud to announce that I am now part of the Student Council as the Vice President. In this new role, I am committed to making future Kaleidoscope events even more exciting, enjoyable, and successful.

Thank you for joining me in reflecting on this wonderful event. I look forward to the adventures and learning experiences that lie ahead.
