As a part of Induction Program September 2024 – Orientation on DELNET Digital Library Resources Session was conducted on 11-09-24 for First Year MBA students. Mr. Rohidas Rathod, Senior Network Assistant, from DELNET (Developing Library Network, New Delhi) was the resource person for the session.
The purpose of the session was to enhance to the use of e-resources among MBA students and to show the various types of e-resources available on DELNET.
Following points were covered during the session
- Basic Search / Advanced Search
- Download, Print different forms of information
- How to access Knowledge Gainer Portal, Vision Portal, Language Learning Portal, E-books and Audio Books, E-Newspapers, Other Online databases, Thesis/ Dissertations, COnCour Portal, E-Journals (Full-Text) etc., were covered during the session
- How to Download e-books
- How to search and download Management E-Journals
- Q&A round.
It was a very informative and useful session for the students as the trainer focused on how to access DELNET Digital Library Resources in campus and remotely anywhere outside the Campus. He engaged the students with Q&A. It was an interactive session.
Overall session was coordinated by Librarian Mrs. Manjushree Nawale with the help of Library staff Mrs. Minal Kotwal under the guidance of Director Dr. Surya Ramdas. Students were motivated to use DELNET Digital Library Resources for their academics and general reading.
