Dear Students,
Women’s empowerment is deeply rooted in education, and at Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS), we carry forward the vision of Bharat Ratna Maharshi Karve, a pioneering social reformer who revolutionized women’s education. His bold initiative in 1896—establishing a school for widows—was an unprecedented step toward shaping an inclusive and progressive society. He dedicated his life to equipping women with knowledge, confidence, and the power to lead.
Today, MKSSS proudly operates 62 educational and professional institutions, including Cummins Engineering College, Bhanuben Nanavati Architecture College, the School of Fashion Technology, and Smt. Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women (HNIMR). Among these, HNIMR stands as a flagship institute, fostering the growth of professional women leaders.
In this dynamic era of globalization and technological advancement, business landscapes are evolving rapidly. To remain at the forefront, HNIMR integrates discipline, expertise, and contemporary skills with a deep understanding of industry needs. Our commitment is to nurture women with managerial acumen, technical proficiency, and a strong feminine perspective—equipping them to lead, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
