A splendid Annual Award Function was held on 27th November 2021 in Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s Smt. Hiraben Nanavati Institute of Management and Research for Women where the young talent of the institute were appreciated for their outstanding efforts in the academic year 2018-20.(Due to Pandamic this function was delayed ).
The award function commenced with the traditional melodious Ashramgeet of the Samstha recited by the vocalist team and welcoming the guest , lightening of the auspicious lamp and felicitation of the guest by the Director of the Institute Dr. Surya Ramdas madam then firstly congratulated all the awardees and encouraged them to achieve even higher peaks in their life. There were different categories of awards namely Gold medal, All Rounder Student Award, Best Outgoing Student Award, Most Promising Student award , to name the few.
For the annual award function , Mrs.Sheetal Joshi madam Assistant Vice President of Kotak Mahindra bank was invited as a chief guest. And Ms.Suparna Gangal madam Director of an SMS production company was invited as a Guest of an honour . Director Dr. Surya Ramdas and Annual Award Incharge Dr. Sneha Aarekar were present on the dais along with Guest.
The chief guest Mrs.Sheetal Joshi gave very insightful speech on expectations from job and how women should stand on their competencies .Also Suparna Gangal madam shared her thoughts about their start up and gave motivational speech to all. And then it proceeded with distribution of awards.
The entire event went flawless and ended with a vote of thanks given by newly elected President of the new Student Council Committee and pasaydan recited by the vocalist team of the Institute.
The annual award function witnessed the celebration of the awardees and their parents, the unending support of the teaching and non-teaching staff for it to become a success and the endless support the guidance of the Director Dr. Surya Ramdas.
